"Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute. Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy." Proverbs 31:8-9
Following the Christian faith is not just about maintaining personal holiness and attending Church on Sunday’s - it challenges us to uphold the cause of the oppressed. What we know is that Jesus’s character includes a deep love and concern for those on the fringes of our society. His zeal for equity led him to advocate for the socially powerless and we feel confident that it is our responsibility as people of faith to work towards building a better world, for all.
We believe that by committing to acts of mercy, making peace, and advocating for justice, whether that be in our homes, the workplace, or in our nation we can paint the world in God-colours. We want to explore the intersection of faith and justice through thought-provoking conversations. We will share inspiring stories and explore the bible as we seek to inspire and challenge people to reimagine what faith in action could look like in their lives.
